Goonumbla is a bounded rural locality in the Parkes Shire of Central New South Wales, 300km west, northwest of Sydney.  Goonumbla solar farm is located approximately 10km west of Parkes, New South Wales. 

We provided the design, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning of the 66kV feeder connection from the TransGrid connection point to the Goonumbla Solar Farm 66/33kV substation, including the 33kV switchroom for Gransolar.

The scope of work included to Engineer, Procure and Construct (EPC), test and commission the substation for the solar farm generation in preparation for the solar farm performance testing. A key deliverable for this project included the design and construction of the 66KV underground mains from the Goonumbla solar farm connecting into the TransGrid Parkes substation.
